Back Of The Net

Maybe it was the lure of  England's opening World Cup match which kept the paddling nation at  home in front of their TV screens and away from the rivers.

 Chipper moustache.

Maybe it was the club program listing a certain cycling event  on the same day as the 2010 London Naked Cycle Ride which kept other Croydon paddlers at home, who knows?

All I'm saying is that in Wales, on the Tryweryn this weekend, nobody could hear you scream...

Cafe wave, nil nil crowds at half time

because evidently, nobody else was there!

Silence is golden

What a golden opportunity to break out the shorty cag, shorty shorts and even shorter (read zero) queues for the playwaves and enjoy a river all to ourselves.

Own goal on the NRA wave

Some people are on the Lower Tryweryn, they think it's all over... it is now!

Extra time for the Lower Tryweryn

A fantastic result at full time and a good bit of pre match bonding for the up and coming Alps trip
which will coincide with the World Cup Final. Get in!
